(গুরুদেব শিষ্যের বাড়ি খেতে বসেছেন। এমন সময় একটি বিড়াল খুবই বিরক্ত করছিলো। তাই গুরু তার শিষ্যকে বিড়ালটিকে একটি পোলো দিয়ে আটকে রেখে খেতে বসতে বলেছিলেন।
এখন আর সেই বাড়িতে বিড়াল নেই আর খাওয়ার সময় বিড়ালের বিরক্তও নেই। কিন্তু তাতে কি! গুরুদেব বলেছিলেন খাবার সময় বিড়াল ঢাকতে, তাই সেই বাড়িতে আজও খাবার সময় বিড়াল আটকে রাখার রেয়াজ রয়ে গেছে। প্রয়োজনে অন্য বাড়ি থেকে বিড়াল ধরে এনে পোলো দিয়ে ঢেকে রেখে তবে খেতে বসে। আর বিড়াল না পাওয়া গেলে সেদিন তারা না খেয়েই কাটিয়ে দেয়। জ্ঞানীরা এটাকেই বলেছেন বিড়াল বিভ্রাট।)
